Also once you torque the axles (depending on what brand axle you're using torque rate can be different) Make sure you punch the crimp nut and always us a new nut. This is not a Polaris photo but they're all the same. There only one nut on the axle the other end of the axle is a slips yolk.
If you're just going to trail ride and looking for better travel, moving over rocks etc. The fox shocks they offer with the kit will do a good job not what we were looking for but there not bad. I would not run stock shocks. The valving and springs need to be set up for the long Tavel. Shock...
So going to weight in here. we are a Race/weld shop build off road stuff for our race team and we used the Thumper Fab Long Armes on our pre runner build. They are great fab shop, the welding and craftsman ship on the A arms was great. We are not affiliated with Thumper at all just hate to see...
Hi Guys, Agree on the Fox QS'3. If you go to my profile and read all my post, Most all my post were based on Shock performance, Might be helpful info. We are an off Road Race Team and have done a lot of R&D on shock set up for the 1500. We posted one of our builds about 8 months ago. All info...
Awesome can't wait to see it. We went through several springs and re-valeved mutable times. The biggest challenges were total weight of the rig to the shock angle and not have it to stiff with still achieving ride hight. Once we achieved this then we could focus on rebound and compression...
Im going to chime in here. A box welded a-arm will be the strongest. We have personal tested this in our Race shop and on the track. The only one we know of at a retail level is Thumper Fab. They did a really nice job on them all tig welded. A lot of the issues we encountered building the...
Pulling these things around was a bit tough at first but now it's like driving a pickup truck haha. We're really happy with the Featherlite Stacker this is the 3 stacker we've had and by far our favorite. Here's a few shots. Robby has his hands in a lot of stuff last adventure he launched a...
We built our 1500 as a Pre Runner to chase our Race truck and the 1500 checked a lot of boxes but we needed a little more aggressive seat with harnesses. So we swept them out for some PRP Cup Bench seats. Had to custom weld in all brackets and we reinforced the chassis at that time as well...
Thanks for the data. I've been a Featherlite fan for years. I have the one for sale a new just don't us it one on order and a stacker that we pull with our Toter Home for racing. Ive pulled a lot of trailer and have to say our Featherlites have never let us down. Here's a shot of the stacker
here's an interesting fact about u.s. aluminum trailer manufacturing! Aluma Trailers 2024 annual revenue $21.5M 40 employees. ATC Trailer 2024 annual revenue $45M company 50 employees. Featherlite trailer 2024 annual revenue $430M with over 1300 employees. Featherlite is the largest aluminum...
keep in mind the specs we came up with we did in house. We think they work great. You order what we have you will need to do a bit of modifying to mount the external reservoir. And I’d recommend runing limiting straps. I can send some pictures of how we did ours.
Here is the King shock contact...
Featherlite is a strong company. They mainly build Nascar Stacker Trailers and Horse Trailers. If you can get your hands on a inclosed hauler they're a bit hard to find.
