You're probably right about Polaris being able to electronically engage the front wheels in hill decent mode...........I never thought about that.
I'm not sure about the Can Am parking brake, does the new HD11 work this way as well?
I'm not aware of any SXS with a Parking Brake that locks ALL 4 wheels, I find that putting the XD in Park is more than sufficient to hold it where ever I would choose to park it. If it's so steep where you're parking maybe consider parking it side ways instead of straight up and down. Not sure...
I had a Ride Command update a while ago that I think resolved the issue with my buttons flashing. Maybe I'm wrong but I can't remember the last time I saw them flashing. I have to push more white shit when I get home today, I'll try to pay attention to see if it's still happening.

The more I look at them the more I like them. That said when you spent the money and are past the point of no return you gotta kind of like them regardless of how you really feel. Really I do like them and am glad I did it...........your milage may vary. :p

Now that's a question only you can answer. If you know what your doing and don't want to take the time to go to the dealer than do it yourself. If you don't know what your doing, or you don't want to mess with it then take it to the dealer. I'm assuming it's still under warranty.
