I have a 2025 Ranger XD 1500 Northstar Ultimate with around 1000 miles. I had a RZR Pro XP and JD Gator with belt drives and lots of slop in the drivetrain. I got into the habit of always applying the brake with the left foot, raising the rpms slightly and slowly letting off the brake to avoid...
Sorry for the bandwidth, but per your request, I tried to summarize the overall process to make mine work:
I went back through my emails from my 2 week discussion with Polaris tech support. I will say upfront that they were extremely responsive. Below are some note extracts from our long email...
I have an android and spent a week on the Polaris hot line. I got the same message. They said there was a glitch in their system and they had to reset something there. After that I connected and all is good.
I have a 2025 but no issue yet. Like everyone else, watching the discussions closely. While the "clunk" sounds annoying, have there been any actual failures due to this? Maybe just drive it like you stole it and see what breaks.....
I'm following the discussions on shock upgrades that would apply to my 2025 1500 Crew Ultimate Northstar. Kind of a basic question, but for normal trail riding, would shocks or springs have a more significant impact on the "quality" of the ride? By quality I mean smoothing out the ruts...
Kind of a general question but are the shock replacements "plug and play" or is there a fair amount of modifications that need to be made? I am somewhat handy but not a mechanic for sure. Wondering if it something that should be left to a shop to do. I have a 2025 XD 1500 Crew.
Unfortunately I don’t have the accessories with bars to mount the cans on. I am thinking of buying the Rotomax mount with the baseplate and bolting it on to the toolbox.
2025 Ranger 1500 Crew Northstar: Looking for a Rotomax fuel can mount. Searched the forums and nothing popped up that was "turn key" to mount the gas can. Obviously has the new Lock and Ride rail system. The spare tire mount looks like it could work great but.....$250.... ouch. Thanks.
