I had the roof rack on my 24 Xpedition and when I got my 26 1500 I put the roof rack on it too. That's where my spare goes. You can get the eyelets that are for the rack and the 3 point strap to attach it to the rack. I put my jack up there as well.

Go into your settings and take it off of auto.
