So your user name? Let’s hear why.

It’s now 3500 weight in Wisconsin. They just rolled mine off the truck yesterday in Eagle River so can’t wait to get it prepped and driven out the door

New XD 1500 Owner in Northern WI

John welcome to XD1500 forum from Eagle River, WI. I have ordered a 2026 and am waiting for its arrival. Will be putting rock sliders, mirrors, sun visors, Ravid self-cancelling turn signals, 32” tires.

Update! Just purchased the 2026 XD1500. Now need to wait for it to arrive. All of your comments swayed me to pull the trigger and I thank you for that. Been a long time Polaris friend and looking forward to spending more $$’s on add-ons and a lot of time driving to places unknown!

Good info to know. I’m certainly leaning towards the XD. Waiting for my dealer to get the crew cab version in to take a closer look at it.

    Transmission slippage

Not sure what years they were comparing. It was a Thumper video more showing their product line than a drag race comparison. Bit, when they lined up to do a side by side comparison the XD definitely had a second or two lag time. Let me be clear. I don’t care about the lag time in a drag race...

    Transmission slippage

I’m in the process of deciding on a 2026 xd1500 purchase and just watched a can am comparison on a short drag strip with the xd1500 lagging at the line. Also heard they were sluggish in a hill environment when you need prompt response. Is this something that has been addressed? I realize that...

Simpson Bucket Seats from Thumper Fab

I’d like a seat that slides back a bit more and maybe tilt option. At 6’6” the legs get a bit cramped up

I’ll take it the red one is the newest. Both are great looking vehicles. The more positive responses I receive the easier the decision will be! Thanks for taking the time to respond!

Thanks for you comments. Now, I’m getting closer to decision making time. Yes, I read about the clunking noise and will continue to monitor. Too bad that Polaris hasn’t responded , or at least not that I saw yet.

Thanks for your reply. I enjoy the trails and driving to the UP as we’re located near the border in central Wisconsin . This will be probably my last unit so want to have a good dependable product that can be used on mild trail riding, small hills like you said and enjoy cool and heat when...

Howdy all! I’ve been on the other Ranger forum as I currently own a 2023 XP1000 Northstar Ultimate. I am seriously thinking about getting a XD1500 and now have found a place to read threads about the unit. Wisconsin just passed a law allowing units over 3000# (crew cab model) to drive on...
