Agreed. Especially if you select tow/haul it should just crawl forward once you let off the brake. It should in all modes, but I see it more in tow/haul.
I believe that picture above of the insulation with the door catch, is actually a members post. I’m pretty sure it’s big red’s picture. Yes, it does help and super easy to diy. I had some pipe insulation on my work truck and used it, worked great. There’s other spots that I could probably tweak...
From my years of experience owning various atv’ and UTV’s. I’ve found that if I buy from a dealer that is solely a brand A or B dealer. The service work and knowledge is seems to be greater, than a privately owned dealer that sells brands A, B, and C. Not sure if you have any of those type of...
I have air bags on the rear axles. But just use the eyeballs when using them and towing heavy. Which is only once a year (week off for elk hunt or sometimes also deer hunt).
Not sure one of us here can give you the correct answer. The above mentioned hitch is a good idea. If I was in your shoes, I’d start out by pulling the ranger onto the trailer and stopping with the rear tires in between the axles, or just on top of the rear axle. Do a short drive, adjust as...
I took delivery of my machine in late March. My clunk started around 400-500 miles. Have had the axle nuts re torqued, and my dealer said the loctite fix was back pedaled by Polaris. Not really sure.
Like other have said, I’ve never taken mine off. If it’s similar to an XP 1000 door panel, it should lift up and away from the hinge side. If all the screws, pins, etc are removed. I had to remove my drivers side door panel on my XP once for a broken/frayed window crank cable.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. Hope you all have a great dinner and time with friends and family. Maybe get some time behind the wheel on this holiday weekend.
I’ve only done the Polaris rear speaker system add on. It’s good enough for me. I don’t even turn it up that much, but helps fill out the crew cab with more even sound. Is it overpriced for the end result? Yes. But at the time of ordering the new machine and all the accessories, no one knew. But...
I’ve installed a powered cell phone holder/mount, midland radio, and a CB radio. I’ve never removed the dash to install the wiring. Due to fear of braking a clip, etc. I’ve just fished the wires through the grommet under the hood and used a flashlight to find the wires behind the dash. I’m sure...
Welcome! I’d love to explore Montana in my ranger. My brother in law just moved part time to kalispell/big fork area. He’s on flat head lake. My wife has visited, but I haven’t made a chance to visit yet (could be partially by choice lol).
Not sure on the whole install, as my dealer pretty much installed all my options that I didn’t want to deal with for a very minimal cost. And I wanted to pick it up fully done. But this is how they secured my plow control wires on the front of my bumper. They’re covers for the electrical...
