The new models come out the 29th. They posted a countdown on their website. Anyone hearing any rumors?

I've not heard a word. With the XD only 2 years old and the XP getting a refresh last year I'm assuming it's something on the base 1000 or 570 line. I'm not sure they would launch another one between the 570 and 1000 but who knows. It's also possible that they put the steel drive tranny in the XP as an option?? I guess we'll know in a couple days.

Not sure what I'm looking at in that picture, looks to be of the front of something. Maybe they finally did something about the heat in the cab and adopted some of the things they did on the RZR last year??

I just read an article where CEO Mike Speetzen said Polaris is launching a Ranger 500 at a base price of $9999 to go after the low-end market. My guess is to try to get some of the sales that the off brands sold at Farm Stores are getting. Polaris stock shot up 15% today.

I like it. Kids have outgrown the Ranger 150. I think the 500 will be perfect for them.

Funny how people have such short memories. Polaris made a 500 Ranger up until 2022 and killed it probably due to low sales. Today their stock jumped 15% because they announced a 500 Ranger to attract new buyers. That said in 2022 they couldn't keep up with demand and likely decided to focus on high dollar units.

The new 1500 comes out the 15th. I’m personally hoping for an actual low range.

Pretty happy with mine so far , would love for it to remain relatively tight and rattle free. Climbing ability and gearing hasn’t been a problem even with 5 adults . I would really like them to come up with adjustable seat backs , upward seating is my biggest complaint . I’m only at a 1000 mi. I know things can change .

It has not been impressive at all for me on these steep hills in southeast Ohio. Is yours tuned?

Well I talked to local dealer yesterday and was told the polaris rep's are saying 26 change is color only which would be disappointing as we have been waiting to decide if we jump on the XD 1500.
Have a 25 Xpedition XP now and a 24 YXZ XTR which we would sell.

I highly doubt the new 1500 will have a low range, I think the steel drive transmission is what it is and Tow / Haul is as close as it will come to a low range. That said I wish they would improve several short comings that piss people off.

1. Side mirrors should be standard
2. 4 speakers should be standard
3. Front camera should be standard
4. 32" tires should be standard
5. Turn signals and a horn should be standard
6. Radio reception SUCKS and it shouldn't
7. Ride Command is now the dated screen in the industry, needs upgraded
8. Leaking windshields, clunking rear ends, dust and heat infiltration ALL need greatly reduced.

Instead, what we will likely get are some new colors, maybe cooled seats, or something else that's makes it cost more and fail more often.

I agree. I don't see any way to incorporate a true low range without redesigning the machine. I really doubt they would do that after only a 2 year run. I've had pretty good luck with mine in the mountains.
