Black Hills trip

Some pics of our Black Hills trip last week. A couple were taken on my buddies ranch near Wall SD on the edge of the bad lands.

The XD did great on the steep rocky trails. The transmission tried to let loose a couple times but a good dose of throttle kept it going.

How many miles did you get to ride on the trip? Were there any breakdowns/field repairs for anyone?

Looks like a good trip. I've been to the Black Hills 5-6 times and loved every trip I've taken out there.

We put on about 250 miles in 2 1/2 days. Had good luck, no breakdowns or flats. Had a great time!

Looks like a good trip. I've been to the Black Hills 5-6 times and loved every trip I've taken out there.

The Hills is the closest good mountain riding to me, about 400 miles. I've been out there many times also. We based out of Nemo this trip, but we've based out of Hill City, Deadwood, Rec Springs, etc as well. Great riding.

I've been to all those places many times. Nemo looks like a great time for SXS riding and that little bar in town looks like it could get rowdy at night. Last time I was there they had a large place outside for a band. Not sure if it's still that way today.

Over 600 mi.
No trouble with any machines or tires ,
or rain .
Can't believe what the tires have to go thru.
We saw lots of deer , both whitetail and mule deer. And turkeys
1 live bull elk and a dead bull elk with horns sawed off , buzzards were having a feast .
