I've been active here for a bit now, but I realized I never did one of these intro posts! I had been wanting to get into the 1500 game for a while. I own a Rzr and have had them in one form or another for 10 years or so, but I was often using it for utility work and other hobbies. Pulling small aluminum trailers, hauling stuff around, etc. Obviously there is not much space or capability for that kind of work. I also wanted a plow, as I am growing tired of wrestling a snowblower on my wind-swept driveway.

I tried to talk myself into an Ranger 1000, as it would easily do anything I wanted, but it just didn't do it for me... I wasn't excited about it... I wanted the 1500. After pretty much agonizing over the decision to spend the money over the span of 6+ months (I'm a little OCD at times), I found a 2026 ultimate 2 door that I couldn't pass up. My upgrades so far include the 84" plow with full hydraulics/extender/snow flap/drag bar/UHMW wear bar, front camera, mirrors, visors, floor mats, and headache rack. Planned are KO3 tires, a heavy bed mat, sliders, and probably some window tint.

Some of the state got hit with as much as 3 feet of snow over the last 36 hours (mostly along the North Shore)... and places just south of me got 8". At my house, we barely got enough to cover the grass. Obviously I was disappointed, I've only been able to plow once and that was about 4". 😥

Nice! I like the color! Got mine this past Monday, so far Love it!
I'm using the same plow I had on my 1000Xp. If you use yours on concrete, try a poly edge.
Put one on last winter and it works great. No concrete scraping and less noise.
Enjoy your new toy!!

Yes, already installed a UHMW wear bar... looking forward to trying it out.

I totally understand the lack of snow. I’ve had my XD for 2 years, and haven’t had to plow yet. We just keep getting a couple inches at a time. But I know the minute I sell the plow, we’ll have feet of snow. lol.

Exactly how I feel about my snowmobiles  We are into our third straight season of little to no snow with extreme February thaws. We seem to get a fair amount in December, before the ground/swamps/ditches have froze up... but then get very little after New Years.
