Not sure if this brand of kit has been talked about here before or not. Here is an install video showing how to install the auto start kit.

This is the same brand a member used for the remote start/auto door locks. I remember him saying the door lock install was a PITA and time consuming. It doesn’t look like the remote start install isn’t as difficult.

For me "The juice just isn't worth the squeeze" with these things. I just completed a Polaris Owners Council survey on remote locks and starting so I know they are considering them. My guess is a year or two there will be something available.

Same thing here. Only time I may want remote start was before I separated some keys. It was a pain to start the machine up, then need to shut it off to lock my trailer door, or to unlock a padlock on one of my gates. Now that I’ve separated keys, it’s not an issue.

I totally understand if it was a daily driver and you live in the cold or heat. Don’t get me wrong, I use my remote start every morning in the winter and in the summer at the end of the day if I remember in my work truck.

I had a Key fob with my last motorcycle (Indian Chieftain Elite) and twice it left me unable to start the bike due to a key fob problem. Had to buy 2 new ones and take it to the dealer to resolve. The bike had a way to get started by a code you programmed using your turn signal switch, it was such a pain in the ass. I rode bikes since I was a kid and not once did I ever have a problem with a key.

Well, my wife wanted the remote start and security kit with an extra LCD remote so she could start the Ranger and cool it down for our Minature Yorkie and her as he loves to ride but is very heat intolerant and we were not blessed with children so he basically is our child. So spoiled he is!

I got it last Wednesday and installed it. I had trouble pairing the 3rd remote as it didn’t come paired by mistake and finally gave up trying and sent Jon a message on Sunday and he replied almost instantly.

Can’t say enough good things about him or Dirty Teeth Racing!

You have to pair all remotes within 2 seconds as he said it was very unforgiving and after I sped up the process I had no trouble.

We have Drone on another car my wife drives with this same computer remote LCD remotes as a daily driver, and so we opted for the Drone App on the 1500XD as well and all works great!

We have not had any problems on that car with Drone or the Compustar system on it.

Here are a few pics! Was it worth it? Teddy

and the CEO and CFO says yes! Tennessee weather is hot and very humid during the summer.

The hardest part to this whole install was installing the break switch micro pedal and the bracket as it is in an awkward position.
