After the initial Polaris fluids were drained at 25 hours, I switched everything to Amsoil. I like the honey color so you can see what the used fluids look like. My observations have been the engine has been looking really good, slight discoloring but not bad. Same with the front differential. But the rear diff definitely gets quite dark, nearly black. Nothing on the motor or front drain plugs but the rear has its share of metal dust on the magnet. I've been changing at 2,000 miles. From what I see the engine and front differential could go longer. Mine will be ready for the transmission soon, so I'll report on that when I switch that over to Amsoil as well.

Trans I went with Polaris, if I could offer some support. If you dump it and it’s spotless like mine was don’t waste your money on a filter and dropping the pan. It was spotless. And changing the oil made me feeel better but what I dumped out was just as clean as what I put in. Zero metallic!

Agreed. Front diff in the summer stays clean. Winter it does not. It looks ugly after 50h. Rear diff always looks metallic and stinks. I change front and rear diffs every 50h.

What is the Amsoil that you will use for the transmission?
