Hello,

New here and thankful to gave this resource. Ive had my xd1500 since shortly after they came out. My battery just died- seems kinda like a short life but I'm trying to pull it but man,,, major problems. My rig is a three seat with no back seat… Ive got it disconnected with the strap off but for the life of me, I cant get the thing out the little hole. Soooo tight and so many wires that it seems impossible to remove. Any advice for a first timer???

Thank you!

I’m in the market for a new battery as well, but my wife one time left the ignition in the on position when I was out with an injury and couldn’t drive. So I thought maybe that’s why I’m needing to replace my battery.

Have you tried removing the battery from the rear wheel well? When I was doing some wiring work early after taking delivery of my machine, that seemed the best way to remove the battery.

I didnt know there was a “back door” to removing the battery. Ill look for that. I did watch a polaris video that showed it easily being removed from the panel under the front passenger seat. I couldnt get it out that way though.

I haven’t tried removing mine yet, but I thought the opening was to small, and just assumed removing the fender liner would probably be the easiest.
