Good morning everybody. Northstar ultimate if it matters, has started the on off throttle click that you can hear pretty evident now. I know everybody has issues with axles, but I just don’t see anything they’re not loose. You can’t move them in or out up or down and I’m wondering if there’s other sources of this noise or if it is just the axles. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

I'll be interested to see if anyone has ideas... but I will say, the amount of force/torque on those splines is orders of magnitude more than you can ever exert with your hands. So it could definitely still be that.

Put the vehicle in park and put your hand on the rear driveshaft where it enters the rear differential
Get someone to rock it back and forth and you can feel the clunking coming from inside the differential.
At least that is where mine is creating a noise from.
It is getting worse as I keep driving it. Polaris says it's not a mechanical failure, so as of now, they won't work on it.
I'm sure the mechanical failure will occur before long.

keep us posted please mines doing the same thing . Its also coming from the trans output shaft drive shaft. If i rock it back and forth I can see the yoke move before the output shaft does and I here the clunk.
