I just bought a 2026 1500 Texas edition. Looking forward to learning a lot here about my new machine.

Welcome to the group! I would buy the Texas Edition in a heat beat if...
1. They made it in a 2 door.
2. They didn't call it the "Texas Edition" Not sure why they could not have been a little more creative about the name, maybe something a little less Texas like LIMITED
Either way that's a great looking rig and I'm sure you will love it!

There is also a #3 for you before you switched, they would have to make it in Red. Because it goes faster!

Totally agree... some cool features, a cool color... but sorry, can't do the Texas thing (no offense to those who live there). I suppose one could re-badge it some way, get creative and get some vinyl.

How the hell could I forget that!!! I can't be driving around in a big black hearse!

Not to bash Texas but there is more to my story about why I don't want to drive around in a rig with Texas written all over it. I have a sister that has lived most of her life in Texas and loves it, good for her. Right out of High school I moved down to Texas for a job which was easy to find, everyone was willing to hire a big white boy from Iowa. I lived in Grand Prairie which runs together with everything else in the Metroplex area. (I called it the MetroMess) Long story short I hated the 4 months I lived in Texas and couldn't wait to come back home to Iowa. So there is no way I'm going to give my sister the satisfaction of seeing her brother from Iowa driving around in a Texas Edition Ranger.
