Need help/info on removing passenger seat to install bus bar on XD 1500.

Hello,
I’m working on installing the Polaris Pulse Kit (Roof. Mounted), and I’m trying figure out how to remove the passenger seat. Any tips on removing the seat? Thanks!

You might have to yank a little harder than you want to remove the back seat as stated in Polaris's notes. I had to do this (Yank Harder)....no jokes please LOL, to remove the bottom of the Drivers seat to expose the "Hidden" storage pocket under the seat.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll give it a yank. I purchased a 1500 XD Premium, and I just installed the wiper system, bumper lights, and front bumper accessories. I didn’t find much YouTube video on removing the seats.

No single cab. I detached the bottom clip, but I’m working on sliding the seat down. They make it look easy on the factory instruction.

I tried mine, I didn’t want to force it. Now I’ll have to.

Yeah tried mine yesterday no go , I can get the bottom to undo but top wont slide down . theirs a hole in middle below back rest that they say put a screwdriver in and pull down . Only problem with that is got to take out back window to do that.

Yes, Crew. I would think 3 seater has the hidden compartment under driver seat as well.

Yes, on mine there are a few screws to access something. I didn’t want to explore.

There is no storage compartment under the seat in a 3-seater. That said there is some unused space behind the driver's seat that you can use. Just slide the seat all the way forward to see it.

I tried to “yank” it but no go. I’m thinking about getting a board and “tap” it down with a hammer or rubber mallet. I might take out the back window to see if I have access to the back for pics.
