Steve, from Idaho. Thanks for the add... Recently purchased a 2026 Ranger XD, Mountaineer edition and looking forward to learning from member experiences here on this forum. Coming from a Xpedition, which I liked, other than the cabin noise.

Welcome to the forum. You’ll appreciate the cab quietness of the XD. From what I hear there are other areas that the expedition beats the XD at, but they weren’t as important for me as cab noise.

Welcome to the group! The Expedition has a better suspension and stereo for sure, other than that I prefer everything else on the XD. Hope you really enjoy your new machine!

Welcome! I imagine you'll have some beautiful scenery to enjoy that XD in.... I too considered an Xpedition, but it just was too loud and not capable enough for what I wanted it for. Enjoy it... any accessories you've got planned?

Thanks! Yeah, Idaho has some beautiful country to explore. I’ve been looking at “the ultimate bed rack” from Thumper Fab and maybe some seat covers.

I'm from the CDA/Sandpoint area of Idaho. I'm dropping off my 2025 Ranger XD at Corbin Electronics to have their turn signals kit installed. They are only about 30 min away so very convenient. My mods so far have been floor and bed mats, front camera, spare tire carrier/tire, and storage box. Plugged some easy to access holes for heat management and now good to go.
