Hi!

My name is John, and I'm new to UTVing! My first purchase was a 2025 Ranger XD 1500 Northstar Ultimate. The dealer installed a factory brush guard, a 2-inch front receiver hitch, and sideview mirrors. I also purchased a KEMIMOTO cargo liner bed mat and floor mats. In the near future, I want to purchase and install a turn signal kit (any recommendations?) and a Boss XT "V" snow plow.

I look forward to using my XD for property management and trail riding!

Welcome to the group and congrats on joining the UTV family. Common turn signal kits are WD Electronics, XTC Powersports, and Ryco Moto. I have the Ryco but it would not be my first choice. I would buy the XTC because I don't care for the milky white led turn signal strip that WD uses. That said a lot of people have WD Electronic kits and like them. I also think they have a new option for the turn signals which would solve my biggest complaint. I would also talk to your dealer to see what he sells and installs.

Turn signals. I think there is a firm in Rice Lake wi by the name of Revtek that makes a plug and play turn signal kit for the XD 1500. Google it and check.

Whichever you choose for turn signals, make sure it has a canceling timer. My Corbin signals have an automatic shutoff after about 40 seconds. It's pretty easy to forget to cancel them.

I have WD Turn signals and they work great! Wish they had self canceling, Ravtek is based in WI and I like the Rayco as they have horn and hazards on the steering stock like the old school semi trucks too save on wiring and switch space.

Here’s an Affiliate link for the WD Kit: They have awesome customer service always answering their phones and that goes a long ways in my book!

Thanks, Big Red! I, too, am not a fan of the white LED turn signal strip; however, I was on WD's website and noticed that they have a turn signal kit (TSK-1990). It appears that the amber LEDs are integrated into the auxiliary (front brushguard) lights. I'm going to contact WD and get additional information on this kit.

Having the turn signals integrated into the bumper lights would be the way to go in my opinion. My cousin stopped by a few days ago to show me his new XP1000 and that's how his system was set up. Nice clean look like it was meant to be that way not just added on.

I am curious if the replacement lights included in that kit are as bright and effective as OEM....

Corbin kits have the turn signals in the bumper lights. Very popular in the PNW. Just another option.

Welcome. From Eau Claire area I would suggest looking at rock sliders. The doors are expensive
Hey there! I took your advice and ordered a set of rock sliders. I should have them in a week and installed before the trails open!

They are just as bright! I had the strips and removed them because I installed the factory front brush guard and it block them; so I called WD and had them send me the integrated turn signal/ditch light kit. Works awesome, the only drawback at night is when you put your turn signal on the White light shuts off and you loose that side ditch light…

John welcome to XD1500 forum from Eagle River, WI. I have ordered a 2026 and am waiting for its arrival. Will be putting rock sliders, mirrors, sun visors, Ravid self-cancelling turn signals, 32” tires.

John, check out Corbin. I put them on my 2026 XD1500 Northstar Ultimate and am extremely pleased. One of the selling points to me was not having the turn signal lever in the way of the light switches on the left side. I use the light switches far more that I would ever use the turn signal and didn’t want to obstruct the switches. The replacement lights are equally as bright as the OEM. I did the horn and hazards also. I was able to get all the switches to fit by moving the rear bed power switch down to the lower switch location. It’s a different size so you will need to purchase a new switch if you want to do that. Good luck!
