Hi all …..stumbled across this forum researching the 1500 XD. i’m about to pull the plug to upgrade from my 22 1000xp Northstar Ultimate crew to a 25 1500 XD Ultimate crew……..test drove one last weekend and i have to say wow what an upgrade or at least it seems like it with the short time i drove it and lookes
the machin over. seems like a big upgrade. would love input and suggestions from you all regarding anything related to the 1500 XD.

Welcome JCLND glad to have you on board. If you have a specific question I'm sure you will get a lot of input from the group. Lot's of information here on what people have done with wheels and tires, lights, bumpers, floor mats, door pockets, tool boxes and so on. Feel free to use the search bar in the upper right hand corner to do a little research on your own.

Thank you! i’m waiting for add ons to be installed and then i can pick it up. right now im looking for led light options up front on bumper and open to suggestions including mounts you all used. also mats for interior and on for box. it drives me nuts when they don’t lay flat and is like a lip on them as i’m from ND and ice fish quite a bit and it makes cleaning so much easier.
anyone here mounted any fishing electronics in their units? if so i’d love to hear what and how regarding mounts etc and would love to see pics. i’m so pumped i found this group!! Thanks to having me

Welcome to the group! Like others have said, there’s a lot of good info and experiences with aftermarket parts from members in here. I decided to go with a rigid light and mount for my bumper light bar in the combo pattern. As far as floor mats go, there’s a lot of options out there. Most of us have the weathertech style, which there are several different brands. A good place to look for accessories like that is Amazon.

I have the Amazon mats with the lip as well, I don't care for the heavy "Cattle Mat" type material. I went cheap on the front LED light and love it, I got it from Amazon and can give you the details if you want it. If you want info on a toolbox let me know, in my opinion there is only 1 that fits the unit correctly.

I’d love the info on the items you list above. in your comment you talk about cattle mat feel on the mats. what i’m hoping for with those and maybe it’s asking to much is that they fit the way they should and aren’t all out of shape all the time.

JCLND - I bumped 3 threads for you to review floor mats, tool box, and light bar. PM me if you have any specific questions.

Thanks. i almost asked what bumped 3 threads meant but unlike i usually do i scrolled a bit and see them. sorry……im old and severely tech challenged 😁 Thanks for the help

No worries, we tend to be an older crowed here some more tech savvy than others.
