Just curious what we felt like we should have got as standard equipment for $45 -50K rig that Polaris didn't include.

I like the electric door lock idea. Some of the items don’t really pertain to me, since we can’t legally drive on the roads here. We can go from pasture to pasture in our rural areas but not technically legal. Although I did add a horn, to help with getting cattle and mushroom pickers out of the roads when out hunting.

You'll never find turn signals on a Polaris off-road product - they are proud of their road free company, they even plaster it on the side of some snowmobiles. Turn signals make it a road vehicle and open the door to tons of regulations and red tape.

The first thing I noticed hopping in the 25` was a lack of mirrors followed by the horn - my folks both commented on that within 30 seconds of leaving the driveway.

4 speakers sound system seems like such a baseline thing to have on a top of the line machine.

I wouldn't say never on the turn signals, your Ranger already has turn signal indicators in the instrument cluster they are just not wired at the factory. Things like turn signals, horns, mirrors and so on are common on vehicles but that does not mean they have no purpose on an Off-Road vehicle. There are plenty of Off-Road vehicles that have these features already (tractors, combines, and such) plus several other SXS companies have already put turn signals on their units. Cub Cadet, Masimo, and I think some John Deere Gators come standard with them. So, I disagree that turn signals make it a road vehicle and doubt their existence would add any regulations or red tape.

Well, the many engineers tha I've spoken with all had the same consensus - Polaris as a company wants to keep their off road stuff, off road. I've noticed that the Rzrs all have the spot in the instrument clusters as well, I've even pointed that out and was told that turn signals and horns gets these things too close to road going vehicles and mentioned something about California.

All of Polaris's engines are build down the road from me, the engineering and testing facility is around the corner and I have many friends and family who work at both - just sharing what I've heard many times.

Winch switch needs new location or a cover. Dogs keep sending it out all the time with docked tails

Side mirrors, definitely. A horn, when I am trying to get someone's attention in the field and a horn would be a big help.

Intermittent wipers
Agreed, and what blows me away is they even removed the two-speed wiper like the 2017 1000 NorthStar had. That was nice when in a snowstorm blading. The one nice thing, it is much quieter. Don't have to play the jams so load now. lol

Door switches on the dome lights !
I rode in the dark last night and I hate hunting for the key in the dark to get her fired up. It would be great if the dome light came on when you opened the door.
