2024 XD 1500 THE dreaded driveline clunking noise appeared at 150 miles. Three trips to the dealer, (150 miles each) to finally get rear half shafts replaced along with the Loctite "Secret Sauce".
When the dealer had the Ranger, it was noticed that the Windshield/Roof had a leak near the wiper motor. Dealer said they fixed it. It leaks worse now in heavy rain. When I asked the dealer's service department if Polaris has issued any "Service Bulletins" about known issues, Representative said "NO. Polaris wants us to video all problems and send to Engineering for THEIR suggestions to fix the problems UNDER WARRANTY"
It seems that Polaris has "Ham Stringed" the dealer who has tried very hard to fix issues with my Ranger, EVENTUALLY.
All warranty repairs/replacements must be approved by Engineering!

I've never have a water issue when I wash it or driving in the rain. My windshield leaks when it sits outside in the rain or a heavy dew. Mine leaks when the water on the roof runs forward towards the windshield, that's when it gets in under the seal then into the cab. Not sure if this is common with others, it's just what I have experienced.

I have the leak as well

Mine leaks a little if I’m heavy with the pressure washer. Dealer did improve it. But I think mine is just from the top seal, when I get carried away with the pressure washer. If I just use a normal garden hose sprayer, then it’s fine.

Mine leaked also but my dealer had to replace not only the gasket but the entire windshield. Polaris was on point and sent me a case number to follow up on. Since it has been dry with no leaks at all.

Mine leaks rain water through what seems like the windshield hinges. Part ordered. The gaskets are pooped all out. Material seems too soft. The dealer has been great. In service now with several other items to get fixed up. Axel clunk part ordered, poor to no FM reception, heat blowing in around steering column and center armrest plastic hinge part keeps breaking. Asked them to also check the steel drive fluid level. Sometimes seems to slip, other times not. Hopefully they will get er done well. Love the vehicle when all is working proper.

I've had the seem leaking windshield. Dealer tried to fix it once and there was no change. Last winter the windshield cracked, and luckily, Polaris is going to warranty it. Hopefully this will be the fix.
My dealership is 1000 miles (1600km) so its a long haul back and forth.

Mine leaked around the wiper motor and it was the wiring getting closed in the seal when closing the windshield. I zip tied it out of the way and solved the problem. You might want to check that.

I have a crew cab and I thought it was the windshield but it turned out to be the seam in the middle of the roof water was running through the headliner to the w/s so it looked like the w/s was leaking sealed the seam and no more leaks

Well it finally rained in central Michigan, both front doors leak bad enough the seats were wet!
Can I take it to any local dealer?

I haven't tested the water leak yet, but my windshield doesn't fit right in the passenger bottom corner. There is no more adjustment to make it work. We went to the dealer on Sunday (yes ..they are open) and looked at 6 Ranger 1500xd windshields. 4 of them had windshields that had the same issue or worse but two of them looked perfect. After several measurements, it appeared the windshields that fit correctly were actually dimensionally different than the others. I spoke with the parts and service dept. and they were aware that Polaris has a new windshield available, but they are currently on backorder. My dealer said they have had complaints on fitment and water intrusion and the new windshield is supposed to address these issues. They have one on order for me, but they are on back order right now.

Do any of you have the fitment issue mine has? It will be very noticeable in the bottom passenger corner. I will try to attach a video of how mine is.

I have an early 2024 and I don’t have fitment issues. But I was getting some water leaking in around the wiper area, that my dealer corrected. Now I only get water in, if I’m aggressive with the pressure washer. What year is your machine?

I have an early 24 with the same issue. I bought some 1/4" thick low density foam gasket and put it around the windshield frame on the Ranger to help it seal up better. Cost me about $5 and 5 minutes to improve the seal.

That's similar to what we have done for now. Hopefully the new windshield will fit better. The two units at the dealer that sealed up looked to be a really good fit. The others were worse than ours.

I was chatting with dealer today. Mine needs to come in for cab pressurization and leak check. Looking for a windsheald leak. Any one that hear of this?

I haven't heard it called that, but they will use pressurized water and spray it most likely. My dealer told me that's what they do test for water intrusion.
