Rear end clunk

I wanted to give a follow up to my earlier post about a very loud rear end clunk in my new 2024 crew XD 1500. No clunk until I hit about 25 hours. Took it in for service and they did the Loctite fix per the Polaris bulletin. Surprisingly it seems to have worked! I have another 20 hours and 300 miles on it with no more clunk! Hope this helps anyone who has experienced this same issue.

There is a ten page thread on the CLUNK . I was one of the early ones that had success with the Loctite BANDAID and it has been quite for almost a year (about 120 hrs) but unfortunately, mine is now returning.
I plan to see what dealer knows about current repair options but this is destroying my love for the 1500. If Popo can't get this right I plan to cut my losses and go a different direction.

Mine is at dealer for annual check up, fluids etc and the rear end clunk noise. Extended warranty covering majority minus my deductible. Told there are new axles that go along with the Loctite fix? Anyone confirm new axles? Thanks!

I had the clunk at 30 hours on my 2024 XD1500 crew. Dealer did the “Loctite” fix and that held up for an about a year. At about 190 hours, both of the steel boots (round shrouds with bands) at inner axle/CV had come loose.
I was told both half axles were broke but not sure what that entailed. Anyways, they did replace both and did the loctite again. All seems fine now. I believe the axles are improved??? See pic for description of work and new part numbers.
All under warranty. Good Luck!

I had same clunking noise come about in my 2025 a couple months ago. Took to dealer last week and they lock tight rear prop shaft and axles going into wheel hubs, after putting in new axles. Problem solved

That is the problem. The “fix” makes these parts almost impossible to remove.
