I am seeking your recommendations for an amber LED strobe or light bar for my 2025 RANGER XD 1500 NorthStar Edition Ultimate. I want something with 360-deg visibility.

If there is a decent looking bar that is not too tall, then I would consider a permanent installation with a switch. I am not too interested in having a classic round strobe beacon always on the roof.

I do not mind the idea of a temporary light that I could power via the 12V cigarette lighter outlet. However, I am not sure what the best approach would be to mount it to the poly roof.

Any other thoughts on this? Thanks!

One idea that might work, is what if you attach a piece of metal to the poly roof with either Velcro or double sided tape. Then use a magnetic strobe for temporary use and plug it in to the 12v outlet? Is it required to use a strobe where your at?

If you really want or need a strobe light than Mr. C has a decent suggestion, you could also silicone a metal plate to the roof. If you just want to be seen from the rear you can just leave the white LED light on the back in the "ON" position.

I mow with a JD 4075 with “snow cab”
This includes a strobe which I think would mount easily to a headache guard.
I do mow after dark sometimes and really like the 4 separate lights. I think when plowing you might want to see well behind you and to your sides so you could angle when backing if need be.
I have no experience with light bars but these 4 lights really illuminate all around me.
My 2 cents…..

I’m going to have a seizure reading about it. lol.

Is it required to use a strobe where your at?

Wisconsin ATV/UTV snow removal regulations, one of the requirements is "Machines must display one or more illuminated, yellow lights that are flashing or rotating and visible for 360 degrees."

Thanks all, your input is appreciated. I am leaning towards a temporary setup. If I figure out something that works reasonably well, I will post photos later this season.

This could very easily be mounted to several areas without much effort. It would be easy to run the wire through the windshield gasket. There are also several battery versions available on Amazon

Could mount this one on a pole in the bed and plug it in there too, there is already a switch in the cab.

Making use of the cargo bed power port is a good thought. Thank you.
