I know the 1500s are quieter than the 1000s, but I plan to add more sound proofing.
Has anyone else done this? (pics please). Also is there a way to remove the passenger seat back
with out removing the whole seat frame?
I did add deadener to my 1000xp and it helped a lot.(1000xp pics) below

I did some sound deadening under the bed and on the firewall. I need to be subjective and say I really didn’t notice a difference. I see you installed your under the seats – can you say it’s made a difference? Appreciate your thoughts.

After getting my 1500, we removed both front fenders, all the floor tunnels, the headliner, and the rear seat. We then added sound deadening and sound insulation to every possible surface. We even placed insulation inside all the doors on every flat surface available. My headliner now has three layers of insulation, and I’m almost done with the rest.

If I were to trade this one in, I would do it all over again. The heat and cold insulation is significantly better than the factory ones. The sound insulation has also made a big difference. You start hearing the window seals squeak and other noises that you wouldn’t hear on another side by side. These aren’t bad noises, just noises that are usually covered by other sounds in the cabin.

I would say that my 1500 is probably almost as quiet as my 2018 Jeep Rubicon inside.

just completed doing my 2026 and the difference is amazing! I still have to do the front and can't wait to see how that goes. I had to remove the entire back seat frame in order to do the rear wall. Truly impressed with how this was secured however thought Polaris should have put the insulation at the factory for such an expensive machine. Mine at none at all

This is what I just finished(pics). Removed the seats and seat frames. covered all areas with Siless Deadener.
Did underside of storage bin other access lids and front drive shaft tunnel cover.
For now I used shop mats for floor mats until I find suitable custom mats.
A noticeable difference with what I've done already!!

Sounds like quite a project with good results! I plan to add deadener to the front of the cab next. also tackle the areas where I can feel cold air coming in. Around the shift handle and steering wheel.
