Id like to know too

Looks simple enough, but might crowd your right arm while driving. I just leave mine cased in my toolbox when traveling on road, once in the timber I usually just leave it cased in the bed. For those that need their rifle uncased in the cab it seems like a fair option. It's either something like this or mounted above your head below the roof liner.

I don’t know anyone that’s used the thumper fab mount. But I know people that have used one that’s basically the same design in XP 1000 rangers. And they were not happy with it due to the cumbersome up front. Depending on the gun it’s also difficult to get them in and out from what one buddy said. Also the front controls were a little harder to use. Again this was in a 2021 and a 2020 XP 1000 northstar. One buddy ended up doing the overhead mount (big sky, I think it’s called). My other buddy ended up moving the floor mount gun mount to the rear floor board.

Just some opinions that I was told.

The only option I know of is the (big sky) I think that’s what it’s called. Redmond Polaris has them in stock. But I believe they’re cheaper online. I mounted ratcheting gun holders to the rear bars behind my front seats. Although that only works if you have a crew. I positioned them so that I can hold two long guns, and there’s no interference with anything or passengers. Been working great for me. I used the kolpin bar mount ratcheting gun holders.

I like that alot - I have gun rack mounted on grab bar behind front seat .
