Did some testing with a 2026 two door Mountaineer last week and for the trails, rocks, and agility, it seems to be a good fit for all around use. We may build one of these to replace the crew with long travel we just sold.
If we decide to build a 2027, I think we will do portals and 37- or 40-inch tires as something fun. I hate to say it, but we have considered doing a HD11 with portals also, but we have always built Polaris for this type of ride and X3's for racing or hard trails.

From an engineering standpoint, I suspect this is a hardware issue which directly affects costs. I was disappointed that Polaris tried to sell it as a "normal" condition. It has been a constant fight with the dealer and Polaris to address the issues. I have so many hours in disassembling...
There is an updated part number for the tip out windshields that just became available in January. There have been multiple issue with fitment and stress fractures.
As some of you know, our machine turned right when sitting still and was difficult to drive. I somewhat corrected the issue by adjusting the toe then repositioning the steering wheel so we could at least drive it.

I have a few hours and many beverages in sealing up our 2025 crew but now that it's done, it seems fine. Once you get the fender assemblies off, it's not bad to do.
When I got the machine home, I pulled both front fender assemblies off and spray insulated all of the openings then put black gorilla tape over them. I pulled the front corner windshield area speakers and put foam blockers and sealed everywhere so no air come through the speakers also. I used...
