2024 Steering Gearbox

Hey all,
I have a 2024 Northstar Crew Premium with approximately 5,200 miles. About a month ago I noticed a substantial rattle in the front end. After jacking it up and wiggling everything possible, I came up empty until I started the machine and noticed just turning the steering wheel slightly, that I could replicate. Anyway, Polaris warrantied the part, and my question is, has anyone else had this happen? Also, they said the steering gearbox was a $2000 item. Yikes!

This is the first I have read anything pertaining to steering problems. There is always going to be a small percentage of defective parts get out into the system, hopefully that's what happened with you and this is a one off. Glad they fixed it

Oh yeah! No complaints with the machine or Polaris. They also fixed the rear axle clunk and are flashing the transmission ecu.

I’ve had just about everything else But steering problems.

Mines working fine I only have 4800 km though.

I haven’t had any issues with the steering either. Just the annoying rear clunk. I’ve only got just under a 1K miles on mine though.

I have 8,700 miles on the unit now, and the rattle in the front end has returned. There is a note out from Polaris stating this is common on this model and they are working on a resolution. The rattle shows up just driving over bumps in the road. Anyway, still no complaints, just sharing an update.

Yes I have that rattle two going over bumps. I have a 2024 Polaris Ranger 1500 premium with a 10,400 miles on it no problems really

did u get that rattle fixed cause mine just started today if so what was the problem thanks mike
