Cab AC fix

Tried a new procedure on my 2024 1500 XD regarding AC issues. My past thread said my machine should be cooler in the cab. This is what I did. I plugged the hole under the hood to cabin ventilation system right after the AC filter , put everything back together as it should be, constantly ran cab temp between 65*-75*. Our elevation started at 4200’ and as high as 8200’. Outside temp high was 92* at the peak. Engine temp ranged from 180*-204*, trani was 155*-165*. This was successful!. May have to remove the plug during the cold season.

You are correct. The button was pushed in , and always used present and past. Thank you for your response.

Sorry no photos taken, but very easy to plug. Remove filter from under the hood, plug the air duct and put filter back on. Worked well.
