Door Armrests

These armrest work great. Got tired of not having a place to rest my elbow. Here the link to parts:

Had to paint them black. Had to use Rust-Oleum 209460 Plastic Primer Spray first, paint would not dry. Used Rust-Oleum 334020 Painter's Touch 2X Ultra Cover Spray Paint, 12 oz, Flat Black for finish.

Great idea! So did you have to paint the arm rest? They look like they’re already black plastic. Although I’m not sure how much I’d use one in the drivers seat. I usually use my left arm to steer. But I may ask my passengers if they’d like an arm rest. Looks simple enough to install.

Order them 12 times from Amazon. Every one came gray, so had to paint them. Pretty easy to install. The holes need to be drilled at a angle, because the armrest bolt holes are angled. Makes it line up better and doesn't pressure on the door insert.

They look nice and would be useful to many. Being I'm a really big guy I don't want anything on the doors crowding what little space I have. Once again, they look really nice and look like they belong there.

Yes, pried the door panel off. Be careful, I broke a couple of the plastic clips. Had to purchased these from amazon, worked great.
