Just over 1 year on our 2024 1500 Northstar Ultimate Crew Cab. We live just east of Tallahassee Florida. Most all of our riding is dirt roads and agricultural activity in the N. Florida / S. Georgia region. We use our buggy ALOT. Currently just over 17,000 miles.
No major issues. Only complaint is the heat issues coming in around the steering column area. Not unbearable but would love to hear of a true fix.
Hopefully I didn’t just jinx myself

17,000 miles in a year is impressive. That's about how many I put on my truck a year and I have a 50-mile round trip drive to work each day.

It gets used for most everything

WOW, 17,000, good to hear no major issues. It still amazes me how many non-clunkers have 1500's.
If you search out heat I think you find several that conquered it on their own.

I did the stuff the openings behind the fender thing and it was a big improvement
Still gets bad on the really hot days

Look me up (Kirk Walters) on the Polaris Ranger 1500XD Northstar and see the post I did about heat coming from the steering column

I tried removing the front fenders and stuffing foam rubber in every little nook & cranny, it did not help. I put a couple layers of that foam rubber between the steering column and dash that at least stopped the heat or cold air from hitting me in the face, but that cold and heat just comes out then from under the dash. Hoping to someone comes up with a fix.

Thank you for getting back to me, I put some small towels around the steering column it seems to have cut it down some, but the air still comes through. I guess will keep working on it. Thanks for this Forum Dave

To really get to the location you’ll need to take off the fenders.
