I did a quick search and didn't come up with much. I've watched the wd turn signal video, fender removal doesn't look too bad. Just wondering how long it takes to remove/install. I'm wanting to seal up some air leaks.

It's not bad I've done it twice now. The triangular panel on the a pillar is the trickiest part. Watch the wd electronics signal kit install video.

Man that's hard to say since i tore into it pretty good. My best guess is if you use that wd video you could have them off in 30 - 45 min without rushing.

I’d give yourself a day… I recently installed a bunch of warning lights and went in with only the WD video. It helped a lot, but there’s a lot of “take it slow” moments when it comes to removing the plastic parts…and even more when putting it back together. It’s not bad, I would just suggest taking your time, the first time.

Will do. Thank you.

I did my drivers side today. There are some big areas to let in air, so I'm looking forward to getting the passenger side done tomorrow and trying it out. A couple tips- definitely watch the wd video. The fender came off in no time. Putting it back on was harder. It's kinda difficult to get things lined up in the front corner. Also be careful with the A-pillar trim. It went ok but I can see how you could bust off some tabs pretty easy.

Good info, thank you. What did you use to seal up the holes? I will definitely be doing it too. Took a ride over the weekend and the cold air coming in from the steering column was cold on the boys. Hits you right in the crotch. Please let us know the results when you're finished. Thanks again for the post Jay B.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely give an update once you do the passenger side. Curious to know about the air flow and dust improvements if possible. It’s on my list of things to do.

I finished up the passenger side today. It's really windy here today, my test ride was driving 40mph into a 35-40mph wind. I still have a little air coming in, but I'm going to call this project a success. I cut out most of the wind coming in around the steering column, but not 100%. I just used window air conditioner sealing foam. The second side took only half as long as the first. The pic with my hand in it I'm pointing to an gap back up in there that would be pretty easy to miss. Next I'm going to put it up on my hoist and see if there's anything to seal up around the steering shaft.

You would think someone at the mothership might have been able to predict those large holes were going to be a problem. This was predictable and preventable, not something owners should have to do to be satisfied.
