Fuel Pump High Elevations- Colorado

Has anyone experienced fuel pump issues in Colorado Mtns? Planning a trip and other guys are carrying a spare ?

I have not heard of any issues with people having any fuel pump issues. I did a search also. I’m not a member of any other forums, but the little bit I’ve cruised others, I don’t recall seeing any comments of people having issues.

We do have a member that lives around 9K feet in Colorado I believe. Maybe he’ll chime in.

Ok I'm stupid.........why would elevation cause and issue with fuel pumps?

Morning, not in Colorado but have run mine 9K plus in Montana and have not noticed major reduction in power or "flooding" with the altitude.
