Spoke with gilomen innovations and they’re getting close to completing an ECU tune and other upgrades for the XD’s. Hopefully within a month. Can’t wait to see what it all entails!

It’ll be cool. But honestly I have no interest in extra power. Curious to see what they’ve unlocked.

usually they also program the fan to come on around 20° lower also. And raise the speed and rev limiters. Mainly interested in those. The expeditions are only about an extra 10hp at the crank I think. Plus they can eliminate some other false codes and some other stuff. I know in the xp’s it was like a whole new beast.

Had it done on a 2019 XP 1000 Northstar. Totally different machine! Much Much better!

They told me they have the ecu figured out and are working on trans tuning now

Good to hear!

I still have mine ripped apart. Putting in stereo / blinkers / horn / lift. Let you know in a few days

This sounds very exciting but I have a question. Does this void our 3 year powertrain warranty ? Looks like it is a $1600.00 adder to keep a stock ECU and TCM laying around if they had to be returned to OEM for a warranty claim.

They don’t have any. You have to send your in. I am not worried about that warranty. But everyone might have a different position than me.

I hear ya and have thrown caution to the wind many times in my life. As I age I think more about what ifs and the fact of this being a 50K machine with a first time tranny I will probably wait a couple years.
I am still definitely excited and will watch how well yours and others work out. Maybe in a year or so for me.

My engine getting changed next Monday.

Were you able to get the tune installed and try it out yet?
