Thinking about getting a thumper fab headache rack or some other brands what’s the best way too install winch

Check out the Video Bigred just posted on Razorback products. That Headache Rack winch looks Incredible.

I’m wondering how too wire the winch. And where I connect the ignition wire.
do I wire it too the buss bar in headliner

I would assume you would use the bussbar in the Headliner..the Kit is probably well Sorted with Directions.

I used the polaris headache rack and winch the main cables go to battery the soleniod wire goes thru the rear light hole gets power from a plug and the bus bar plug and play. Also polaris has a switch built on the winch and also comes with a remote .

just installed the Polaris headache rack and winch. Also did the updated wiring harness. everything works including rear light. Have power going into the winch but it won't operate with remote or side switch. Am I missing something or do I have a bad winch ?

I can’t remember if the headache rack winch has free spool, but if it does, it’s not in that position is it?

It does but it's not. no power to the switch/selonoid

I’m not sure on the rear winch, but the front winch runs off a fuse at the battery terminal cluster. I’d start at the source and work out.
