Hi everyone I purchased a 2024 xd ultimate crew in October , trading my Can am XRS smart shock . The quiet ride ride and the low speed smoothness has been great . No real issues at this point… minor air leak on drivers door handle which I now have 90% eliminated . Looks like a very helpful group here , hope to be able to add to it .

Welcome to the group Skippy, good to hear you like your new machine. Most of us have not had any real issues, but a few here have had more than their share. Overall, the 1500 XD is a damn fine machine and there is nothing else on the market that can compete with how smooth and quiet it is.

Welcome to the group! Lots of tips and tricks to be had in here. Congrats on the machine.

Thanks for all the welcomes , I’ve been searching the tire treads looking for a quieter road tire like a KM 3 or Kenda klever xt . Unfortunately have to do more road riding to connect trails

I'm a big fan of the KM3's, best tire I've ever had on a UTV. It is great on the hard pack and performs well in mud and snow. It is by far the smoothest tire I have ever had.

I have 32” Rock-A-Billy’s on now and they have been great in the snow , but I’m really loving the quiet of XD and the Billy’s sing pretty good on the road . KM3 has been on the top of my list with great reviews , just concerned about the weight . I haven’t seen a set in person but tread face seams narrower than other 10” tires .

I guess I don't know if they weigh that much more or less than other tires, I can say I havn't noticed anything. The KM3 does have a narrow profile on the top and are not overly aggressive on the sides. I read they were designed that way to reduce noise. I have the 32" UTV version of this tire, if I was going to buy them again, I think I would go with the DOT version in a 33" X 10.5.

Thanks Big Red I’ll check them out , if you don’t notice the weight that’s what I wanted to hear. Comport is most important to me these days.

I think our 1500`s are so close to lite truck specs that running DOT weight tires doesn't effect us much.

Maxxis has their RAZR XT tires that have a nearly identical tread pattern to the BFG KM3s, but the Maxxis has more tread lugs down the sidewall. We’ve run both, and like both, but the RAZR XTs are lighter weight and do a little better in the sand and mud. We’ve also used a set of KM3 LTs on an Xpedition. They’re considerably heavier than the UTV versions, with more aggressive tread lugs. The weight does rob a little power, but it’s not a lot. They’re also stiffer rubber, so not quite as soft a ride as the UTV version.

I would too.

I love the tires I have and have zero complaints. But now I know they have a 33" X 10.50" and would seriously consider it to get just a little more tire without any suspension mods. The DOT rating could also come in handy as some states require DOT tires to drive on the highway.
