Any one get a trans slip when cold? mine wouldn't move forward at all until i let it warm up for ten minutes.

It has never been a problem for me, that said it most always comes out of a heated garage. The few times I have left it out all night below freezing it never had any issues.

VM2, I have mine sitting on the ice when fishing for hours in sub 10F weather, but usually let it warm up for 5 min before taking off. It's a little stiff on initial take off but doesn't seem to slip, hmm interesting one........

I let it warm up for 10 minutes this morning and was colder than the other day and it worked fine this morning. Do you leave differential locked on yours most of the time or do you do the turf mode? its a lot harder to turn on 2 wheel lock than the turf mode.

As soon as I start mine up in the winter, I immediately get a scrolling note on the dash that "TRANS IS COLD" and it gives temperature of trans at that time. If I put it in gear as soon as I start it, my trans does slip. I let it warm up until the scrolling note goes away.

Yep, my 2026 does it... no mention of it in the manual or what the expectation is when it does appear. Not move at all? Go slow? Ignore? 🤷‍♂️ I let it warm up for a bit then just take it easy. It comes on even at 45 degrees in my garage.

Hmm. Never seen that before.

I think it’s a newer model thing, I’ve never seen that message. I don’t feel like mine has ever slipped in cold weather. But I do let my machine warm up to 100-110 before I take off as well.
