Who is you Polaris insured through and how much for full coverage? I have had state farm for 30 yrs and have had it for 2 months with them and underwriters just came cake with 1k every 6 months......I said no thank you! So I will be looking elsewhere for buggy insurance. I love my vehicles and camper from state farm but my Custom Talon insure for 35k was only $94 a month. Not sure what happened no claims or anything special and got hit 2 months after purchase!

Soooo looking around what do you fellas have?

I pay $329 year for full coverage through Auto Owners. I used to have State Farm or Progressive but switched this year chasing lower home owners insurance which has gone crazy in my area. (almost doubled) I live in SE Iowa and you'll find insurance rates vary a lot depending where you live. I have insured a SXS since 2018 and have always been around that $300 mark for full coverage. I don't remember what my deductible is......probably $1000 or so.

I’m around $460 a year with full coverage and $1000 deductibles. I’m with progressive. Which I’ve found that we don’t have a lot of choices where I’m at. Every off road vehicle I’ve had, has had to be gone through progressive for the best rates.

Well dang.....thanks for the replies fellas. Looks like I will be doing some calling around tomorrow for sure. I love my state farm stuff I have insured and nobody can beat the deals I have for auto but this buggy is making myself and my agent lose sleep as to why this is happening. I have been with her for 30 yrs and my mom for over 50 so I have no idea. She says it's the idiot underwriters and she's sorry and go shop for better for the buggy lol!

Who uses there's on the road? I may or may not go street legal bc Fl can't but Ga can and it will be on the side of the road driving down the side roads at the hunting lease.

It depends where I’m at. Certain rural towns around me, allows it, without blinkers etc. I can run down to my local store, but that’s about it for me, where I live.

I know there are members here that their states allow it, as long as they have blinkers, horn, etc. which is the street legal kits you hear about.

Sorry to elaborate meaning who's insurance knows it's on a road lol
Weird thing is this is what I came from with a South Dakota tag on the road and to come to this price hike!

I use mine on the road all the time. The UTV rules used to be different county by county in Iowa for several years until they became legal state wide about 3 years ago. Still seems odd to see them running around the bigger towns.

Thanks guys just called progressive and got a year with 100k and 300k and uninsured and collision and liability for $670 and I can be in the roads or wherever she said.
