Just put money down on a new 1500 ultimate crew. I love my music and I do not think the stock JBL will be good. I looked at the option to add the Polaris back speakers with subs for $1500. I am willing to spend a little more for better sound. around $2,000. Any Suggestions?
Also where do I put my spare where it would not take up any room in the box?

Welcome and congrats on the new ride. There are a lot of options out there for stereo upgrades. UTV stereo has kits/systems designed for the XD. If you do a search there are a couple members that have done their own systems by being creative. I have the Polaris rear set up and yes it’s expensive for what you get. But I’m satisfied with it.

As far as storing the spare tire, there’s always are options of installing a roof rack and keeping it up there. Which I would like to do, but my XD won’t fit in my enclosed trailer with a roof rack. There’s also bed racks, like what razorback off-road offers that allows a person to secure a spare tire to either on the side, or I’m sure on top as well. I’ve also seen where there is a tailgate style hinged mount that locks into the receiver. They will swing out of the way if you want to get into the bed or fold the tailgate down.

I agree with everything MR.C said about your options to carry a spare and learned about the one that hooks into a receiver which I would prefer over the roof.
In my opinion the stereo options for the XD just suck. The Polaris option would be the best in your price range but most agree it's not great for the $1500 bucks they charge. UTV Stereo systems seem expensive and a pain to install. Is it just me or why can't someone make a good UTV stereo for a $1000?
