Power steering issue UPDATE

Had my 25 1500 on the lake and all the sudden power steering is gone. lights on. any suggestions or ideas ? i can drive it but its like a car with no power steering. Dark out and cant look at anything until tomorrow. Thanks guys.

just thought i’d update you all on this in case it happens to anyone else. Went out this morning and fired it up and no power steering light and the issue disappeared. hope it stays that way…..not sure what would have caused that.

Too much technology that sometimes confuses itself. I had a transmission code when plowing snow, multiple Ride Command issues with blue tooth and so on. Turning the unit off for a few minutes and restarting (re-boot) solves a lot of gremlin issues.

Well more power steering loss issue is back and happening more and more often. Spoke with my service tech and he said more than likely they need to reflash the ECM. will let you know if it helps

JCLND; I also had this issue like 4-5 times and a power off restart always fixed it. But I did tell my dealer and they had me bring it in and found codes that Polaris replaced the entire power steering mechanism, just as a FYI.

Thanks for the reply. I will relay this to him as i hate running machines back and forth to issues and want it fixed the first time.
