Does anyone have a rattle when they are moving in reverse? Crew cab 2025 Ultimate model. Sounds like metal guard rattling or something vibrating against metal.

This is not the dreaded clunking. I have that issue as well that is hopefully being resolved.

I do not and have not heard of anyone having this problem. Like you I would look for a loose heat shield or any other thin metal part that could touch another piece of metal if it was loose. Maybe something where the bed sits down on the frame or a loose fitting 2" receiver accessory??

My best guess is that it is a heat shield. Mine did it all winter until the exhaust was warmed up good then it would go away. It sure sounds like a thin metal vibration.

I have this same "heat shield" sound especially when cold and in both forward and reverse. Been there since day 1 and it's my absolute most annoying problem with my 3 seat ultimate (and I have experienced several problems!). At one past service visit to the dealer, it went way, and the notes from the service document mentioned the "typical brack rattle", but when I asked to be shown when the problem was found so I could handle future occurrences, the dealership manager insisted that there is no known problem and couldn't explain the rattles disappearance.

I offer a $100 reward to the person with a real solution!

Other than this noise, I love the machine. My 24 Limited has over 10,450 miles and it's a great little truck. Just wish it didn't cost like a GMC!

Same rattle on our 3 seat Ultimate. After 2 or 3 minutes of warm up it's gone.

Yes I do as well. When I back it out of the garage initially it makes that noise ( I only back up apprx 20 ft).
After that the rest of the ride I never hear it again. Have apprx 4800 miles

To answer my own question, or at least in my situation. The seatbelts on the crew cabs are awful. The retraction part on the sides of the retractor rattle like a tin can. I was unsuccessful in tearing them apart to fix the problem.

The seat belt rattle in 4 doors are a known problem, I don't think the 2 door models have this because everything is against the back of the cab.
