Is there a fuse for the rear overhead busbar? Or some reason it will not have power?

Is the light over the bed wired to the bus bar as well? I replaced the green 40 amp fuse on the bus bar and it along with the busbar are not working. The switches to those auxiliary lights to the bus bar are in the overhead switch panel.

I have power to the “continuous” hot side of the busbar but not to the key on side. The rear bed light will work with reverse but will not work with continuous on.

So, to answer my own question, I initially thought I had checked the obvious fuses in the fuse panel under the backseat. However, I revisited them this morning and discovered a fuse labeled “acc.” It’s a 10-amp fuse that appears to control the “key on” side of the busbar. Replacing the fuse resolved the issue.

Now, I’m curious if it would be safe to replace that 10-amp fuse with a 15-amp fuse. I’ve only connected LED lights to the busbar, and I can use all four sets simultaneously without blowing the 15-amp fuse.

My suggestion is to not go larger on fuse size. But rather find the cause. I had several issues with my 12V cigarette style power outlet. The wiring was to short and stretched to just fit on the female spade. In the meantime I fought issues with some of my accessory lighting and whatever I had plugged into that outlet. I would remove that outlet and check your wiring length.

I have several accessories and have not needed to go larger in fuse size.
