Some here have mentioned that they would like this, not sure what it cost but it exists.

No desire for remote start but the door locks would be handy. Pretty snazzy controller

Pretty nice set up. But for the cost, I’m good. And I don’t really care for the beep beep. Only thing I’d like is maybe the remote start. Just so I don’t have to walk out of my house, trailer, or tent to warm it up. But that’s 3rd world problems.

It would not surprise me if this was included in the Ultimate package in a year or two. The technology is far from new, nor should it be expensive in today's world. It's damn hard to find a cheap car that doesn't have these as standard equipment.

I agree Big Red, couple hundred at the most.
Hopefully, they perfect the locks first 😉

Iam still waiting for this Machine to Live up to its Price Tag...it seems it's Still having the Same issues as the 24s . And it Should have Many More features for its Price tag. I allso feel They will be Forced to Lower there Price tags in the Comming years....but I wish all well with there Xds...it's just not there yet for Me..!!

It has a ways to go to call it perfected. I have had a few things that should have never made it out of the development in R&D but that has always been the Polaris approach.
I have heard folks are picking them up much cheaper than I got mine but still hard to justify a S X S that costs more than a street legal Jeep.
For our use it is a great fit. It is small enough to fit through our woods, it is super quiet, and has a great power band.
Just a couple days ago I was fumbling with a intermittent wiper switch as I would like delayed wipers, I ran the wiper motor enough to pull the battery down to 10 volts and it sent me an email alert. It does have some technology.

There are plenty of things in today's world that don't live up to their price tag, especially when you're talking about things at the upper end of the spectrum which the XD is. My 2024 RAM truck goes in Tuesday for 2 recalls, that will make it 3 in the last year. One of the issues I have been waiting on parts for almost 3 months. I think this is the 5th model year for this design and you would have thought the bugs would have been worked out by them. I've come to accept that shits expensive and if it has tits or tires it will cost you money and give you grief sooner or later. (hope that didn't offend anyone, it's just an old saying that's been around forever)

Does anyone have a plug and play intermittent wiper control out yet?
I wonder if a person could wire in a variable control? Infinite switch type control. Just interrupt the switched wire. Might have to drill a small hole somewhere in the dash for a knob. Maybe someone with more automotive electrical knowledge would have a better idea. But that’s kind of what I was thinking.

I found this on Amazon, according to reviews and searching online. People have used this to install intermittent wipers in their UTV.

I've looked at them also. I'm a pretty good mechanic but to me wiring something like that is like witchcraft.😬

Pretty sure something like that will work. I purchased this one because it is a direct snap in. I can make it run the motor and it will do extended wash like a car but so far delay function won’t work. Not sure if it is a compatibility problem or bad switch. Tried calling help line twice last week but never able to speak to rep or no promised call back. One more try tomorrow or back it goes

I have intermittent wipers! I turn them on and let them wipe 1 pass then I turn them back off. Wait a while and repeat process! :p Ok, I know I'm being a smartass and would like intermittent wipers as well. Not a solution but Rain-X does a good job at speed, not so much if you're off-road.

I bought the DirtyTeeth Racing central door lock kit back in August of 2024, when it was $750. Thought it was pricey then, and now I look at their website and it's $1025. Holy crap! I got my kit in December and just started installing it. This kit IS NOT for the faint of heart. It's a lot of work, and their instructions SUCK. I'm not taking vids of the process, but I am taking pics. I'm thinking to create my own install manual. If you decided to have someone else do the install, expect it to be a VERY pricey project. I estimate that for a pro installer we're talking at least 8 hours, and I think it might be possible that it's 16. The install is VERY involved if you want to properly hide cables and have a neat, professional installation. We're talking about the potential of $3000 total! Why Polaris didn't design central locking from the get-go is a real puzzlement to me. It's a ridiculous omission. Easy for them during the build, but not after. And it's really a PITA to go around and lock/unlock those doors. It's like being in the 60s again, only there's not even buttons inside the cab, and easy to lock yourself out.

Thanks for the update. That sucks about the instructions. I remember watching the video from dirty teeth and thinking to myself, this doesn’t look quick or easy. For someone like myself, I rarely need to lock or unlock all the doors, so I passed.

Good thing you have the ability to do the installation. Did you have to run wire to each door or does it bluetooth to solenoid individually connected to each lock mechanism?

I would like it if it had it, but I don't really need it. I rarely lock the doors so it's a non issue for me.
