I’ve got a 2025 3 seater. Anyone ever have any issues with the wench not working?

I got the Unit on Oct 31 of last year and I have loved it so far. I remember testing the wench button when I first got it, and I heard it move. Haven’t used it sence.

Yesterday, my son got the lawnmower too close to the creek and got stuck, so I was ready to yank him out with the wench, but no go? The switch in the panel did not work, and the remote didn’t work. I finally just dragged him out with a chain.

When I got back to the house, I started to check things out, I had power down to the winch at the Hot and ground leads, but still nothing. I even tried tapping Power directly to the yellow and blue wire and nothing but sparks. I’m guessing the motor is dead. Anybody else run into this issue?

I have a 2026 that i received a few weeks ago, i can heard the up and down relays clicking but that’s about it. If i bypass the solenoid i can get it to work. Dealer is 2.5 hours away so he just sent me a new solenoid which i installed but still nothing, any ideas ?

Be sure to check to see if your winch is not half-way between HI and LOW gear

Try unplugging the magnetic sensor on the fairlead... it is a white connector with a green and a red wire. See if it works then.

The other thing I've seen is the wireless control module going bad. This is separate from the contactor (the large relay). I know on some models even the dash switch runs through this module, not just the remote.

I appreciate all the tips, I’ll try them when and if it finally stops raining lol
