Maybe a silly question but I have been unable to find a diagram of preferred jack points for this beast. I don't want to bend anything and I don't know how strong the skid plate material really is. Appreciate any information or diagrams you can share.

Not a silly question ar all. Someone may share an official Polaris protocol.
I just place the jack under the a arm with a piece of wood on top of it to reduce marring and offer a little better anti slip compared to steel against steel. Arched a arms has made this a little safer.
If in the garage I use the floor jackl placed directly under the front or rear end gear case. Very stable place and always steel framed. The only downside is you will lift one entire end of the machine and the suspension will decompress making you lift quite a bit before the tires leave the ground.

I always jack under the front or rear gear case as oneal said above. I have a Badlands Off-Road jack that has enough lift to do this, most floor jacks won't unless you use blocks of wood to increase the lift.

I do the same. I also chok the opposite end wheels for safety, and use some 4x6 blocks on top of the floor jack.
I was trying this today with floor jack 2 4x4 blocks under the front or rear of the frame either side to lift the side tire you want to change and a wider board under jack to stop sinking. Check wheels front and rear

This post has been around for a while, several of us here now have bought the Badlands Offroad Jack that makes lifting the XD much easier with no blocks of wood. It has a belly pan to prevent it from sinking if your off road. Regular price for the jack is $320 but can be had for less with coupons which Harbor Freight runs weekly. I think some here picked theirs up for $240 or so.

Thanks I will look this week end
