I bought some 2”x2” foam and cut it to what i felt would work best and filled the gap in the steering column. Helped a lot with the air intrusion and super simple. did the same in the opening in the door latch.

My 25 stumbled like an old carbed cold blooded motor. Took it in and dealer reflashed the ECM with an update from Polaris. made it much better even at -15 -20 after sitting in the trailer for a week.

Got my Ranger back after the ECM reflash cold start update and it helped a lot. figured i’d let you all know.

Electrical issue in the power steering unit. Polaris is warrantying and replacing.

Dealer said Polaris has a ECM reflash update which is supposed to fix the cold start issue. Will be picking up this week will let you know if it’s fixes it

I have the same transmission issue identical to what you describe. mine is at the dealer now and i will update you all on what i find out. been told by two dealers Polaris issued ECM reflash should fix the starts and the sporadic power steering loss. Will update you all when i can

Appreciate the input I experienced very hard starting in my 22 xp in the winter. had some guys tell me to not run premium. fixed that issue so i started using in my xd. I’m taking to dealer to reflash my ecm and will keep you guys updated. according to my dealer Polaris has issued updates...

Well more power steering loss issue is back and happening more and more often. Spoke with my service tech and he said more than likely they need to reflash the ECM. will let you know if it helps

my 25 acts like an old cold blooded carbureted motor when it’s cold and i first start it. even transmission is slow to engage at first shift. Anyone else ??

just thought i’d update you all on this in case it happens to anyone else. Went out this morning and fired it up and no power steering light and the issue disappeared. hope it stays that way…..not sure what would have caused that.

Had my 25 1500 on the lake and all the sudden power steering is gone. lights on. any suggestions or ideas ? i can drive it but its like a car with no power steering. Dark out and cant look at anything until tomorrow. Thanks guys.

I went and bought some 2x2 heavy foam and started stuffing around the door area and steering wheel are. super easy and it helped a lot.
