Good morning to all! I wanted to take a moment and share a positive experience with Mike at Aftermarket Assassins. I had always felt the 1500 3 cylinder should be able to make 150 hp and it can!! I purchased the tuner, stainless exhaust, and an extra ecm to speed up the process as I was trying for a weekend at the beach. The exhaust went on trouble- free- very well thought out and set up- its a two piece system. It sounds better, slightly louder on the throttle, but the sound is great! He has add on silencers for those in 55 plus communities trying to not annoy the grumpy old folks. The tuner system is super simple to use, tunes get directly loaded onto your tool. I cannot believe the change. The hunting the trans did trying to figure out what you want it to do is gone!! This cvt shifts more like a normal automatic than most cars!! (I'm in the biz). The clutches clamp faster it seems, and just makes it more responsive and drivable. The engine actually seems smoother- my guess is added ign timing. On 91 octane pump gas in sport this thing rips!! You can feel the difference across the whole rpm/ throttle settings, and no drivability is lost. 150 hp on 91 octane gas!! He has tamer tunes if you are looking for less. I don't think you will regret it at all!!!
