Does anyone have the Back Drag Bar installed on their plow and if so, how well does it work?

Morning, I don't have the polaris plow setup. Mine is a snowex that I back drag with. Even though the plow weighs 300 #'s its back drag performance depends a lot on how much moisture is in the snow. If it is too wet, my tire tracks will remain even with that much weight. Hope that helps. Mine doesn't have a specific bar for the back drag, though. It just relies on the push bar and the plows weight.

Ya, that's what I had too and just the weight of the plow is not enough to get a good result. I installed the Polaris one and will test it out the next time it snows.....might be next year since it's in the 50's here all week long.

I have the Polaris back drag bar installed on my 84" Glacier. Personally I feel it does a fairly decent job. The weight of the plow isn't very heavy compared to other applications out there however I've used it for back dragging near garage and side of shop and it works good for me. It does swing out of way when plowing forward and swings back into a locked position when back dragging which does provide a nice sharp edge with some bite opposed to just the plow itself.

I was expecting it to swing up but mine does not, it has less than a quarter inch of travel. Of course, Polaris can't afford to send instructions, so I went online to view them. I installed it the way they've shown using the bottom holes which is what's causing it to lock in place. It didn't seem right to me, so I tried the upper holes, flipping the parts from L to R and vice versa. Nothing seemed as I thought it should, so I put it back to what the instructions showed. Still doesn't seem quite right to me.

I'll take a video of it in the morning to show you how mine work. I believe it's more than 1/4" of travel though.
