2026 1500 crew xd .. where is the reverse light plug and play located at?????

To my knowledge there is not one. I know some of the older XP1000's had a plug ran for a back-up alarm, not sure if the newer XP1000's still have it or not.

There is no backup light plug/wiring harness on XD1500. Went through the wiring schematics and checked with dealer. Not there. It is still available on the XP1000. They actually have a plug and play wiring harness that is capped off under the box at the rear of the machine. I always connect it through a simple relay so I don't draw to much current from the source. It was a concern on my 2020 machine so just always a little cautious.

To be clear though, it can still be installed... but it requires additional parts such as the roof pulse bar kit. It ends up becoming about a $600 deal though once all is said and done. You'd be better off running your own wires down to a dash mounted switch if you want it badly enough.

When I turn cargo switch on first click light comes on when I put it in reverse. So I ran bumper lights to that with relay and ran to battery . now both lights in bumper come and cargo light when in reverse .

I have rear bumper lights that came installed on my bumper when I bought it, I didn't really need them but thought since they were included, I might as well hook them up. I spent about $40 on Amazon and bought an extended wiring harness and a switch. Super simple install under the hood just had to run the harness back to the bumper and the switch into the cab. A relay was included and I wired a Pulse Bar plug for power.
