engine shield

On a 1500 FB page they were talking about a shield on the engine that catches rocks and chews up the serpentine belt and the AC compressor. Anyone on here had that trouble? I run a lot of gravel so its concerning

I run a lot of gravel and have had zero issues, there are several in this area and I have not spoken to anybody that has mentioned it.

That’s all mine does is gravel and dirt roads. I haven’t had an issue yet. I would hope that it’s all sealed up well enough from the factory that it’s not an issue.

2500 miles of gravel. No issues. Other than a cracked intake manifold.
