Everyone,
I purchased a set of EVA foam floor mats for my 1500 right after I bought it and I love them, they look great, they’re easy to take out and clean, and I think they make the bike more comfortable. I’m sure they help with a noise a bit but I haven’t done anything else to mitigate the noise, so they’re minimally helpful for sure.
I’m considering getting a set of door panel and center tunnel covers from Terick Solutions as well and want to know if anyone has installed them in their bike, and if so, what is your opinion of them? The link to them is below.
They are installed with 3M adhesive, and I really like the way they look, but I’m worried about a few things.
One is cleaning - I’ve had several EVA mats and cushions for things like ice chests, and they inevitably get stained. I know there are products to clean them that do a pretty good job, and I can live with that.
I’m a little worried about wetting the interior with all of that on the doors and floors though. I know it’s an outdoor bike and I use it when it’s muddy and dirty, but all those crack and crevices! My OCD might not survive it!
I’d appreciate any insight or experience anyone is willing to share.
Thanks!
