Iowa group ride

We pulled into town and saw these SXS's. Thought well that's a pretty good turnout.

WOW! That looks like fun. Just curious, are there any trails in that area, or mostly road riding? TIA.

Mostly road. We're talking about organizing one near Muscatine, IA but we don't have any trails here. It'd still be fun getting that many SXS's together just for road riding and bar hopping.

I agree. I just checked Google Maps and it's only 4hr and 43min from our house to Delmar. Would be a nice get-a-way ride in February. How many miles is the ride?

Just found out today there's another one coming up on March 15th just a few miles north of Delmar in Maquoketa, IA. We haven't been to that one before but hopefully we can make it.

Not sure how many miles. Guessing 60-80? In my first post I mentioned this ride was on Sunday but my wife realized last night it was today. Hate it when that happens. Too late to get everything ready to ride today so we just drove up to check it out. It's only a little over an hour from us and it was a nice day for a drive!

According to Google Maps right at 80. Not sure of the breakdown of roads to woods but plan on calling next week to see and will post it when I know.

Interesting observation from today that eastern Iowa is dominated by Polaris. A few Can-Ams, one CF Moto but I'd say 80-90% Polaris.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking we might trailer down to join that March 15th ride. But my Wife just told me our Daughter and her family will be visiting us that weekend. But if their plans change, I'd like to join the ride.
